Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Forest Guard position, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum Intermediate (FSc) from a recognized board.
Age Limit:
- Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years old on the closing date of application.
Physical Standards:
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches
- Chest: 34 inches (normal) – 36 inches (expanded)
- Running Test: Must complete 3 kilometers in 12 minutes
Candidates who do not meet the physical requirements will not be eligible to proceed further in the selection process. These standards ensure that the selected individuals are fit enough to handle the challenges of fieldwork, including patrolling, hiking, and responding to emergencies in difficult terrain.
